How to do an Effective Invitation in Network Marketing

In network Marketing, invitation is a very essential skill that can help you get prospects join your
business. Invitation is a crucial step as it closes loops and secures appointments with your prospects.
To ensure success and effectiveness in inviting your prospects you need to:

 1. Keep your invitation short and to the point

While inviting a guest for a Network Marketing event, avoid unnecessary chit chats as you invite your prospects. Such small talks, waters down your invitation and makes it look like a by the way type of conversation. The prospect will eventually not take you seriously as you might expect them to.

To make your invitation more effective, give a very short greeting then go straight into invitation.

Example:

"Hello Mr/Mrs X, hope you are doing well? The reason why I'm calling you today is because I have a fantastic business opportunity... "

"Hello Mr/Mrs Y, how are you doing today? I am calling you because I have a fantastic business opportunity..."

"Hello Mr/Mrs Z, how are you doing? I am calling you over an important matter. I have found a fantastic business opportunity which if we do together, we can become very successful..."

2. Personalize the Invitation

Everyone in this world wants to feel special and important.

In Network Marketing, if your prospects don't feel important, especially while inviting them for events or meetings, they will rarely show up.

This are different ways you can personalize your invitation:

  • Use someone's profession.

" Hello Mr x, this is Nick here. I have found a very fantastic business opportunity and I believe you who is in the medical field will be a very good fit for you."

"Hello Mr y, this is Nick here. I have found a very fantastic business opportunity, and you who is an accoutant and very good at numbers, when I make this presentation to you, you will see how it rhymes and makes sense with your profession."

  • Use someone's location

You can also personalize through location. For example through their country, region etc

Example:

" Hello Mr Arnold, I have found a very good business opportunity and I'm looking for partners in your region and I immediately thought about you. Let us meet over a cup of coffee, go about the idea, if you like it, we can then be able to work together especially as we expand in your region"

Note: Even if you know people in a certain region, still package the invitation in a very professional manner and personalize it from that particular region they are from.

  • Use someone's character

Network Marketing cuts across everyone's character and personality. It is very accommodative to everyone, irregardless of whether you are introverts or extroverts.

Example:

"Hello Mrs Lucy. I have found a business opportunity and I know you as a very friendly person. This business opportunity involves team building activities, why don't we meet over a cup of coffee I share with you the opportunity and see how your strength can help you make more money. "

You can also personalize through previous dealings:

"Hello Mr Mark, when we were working at Net Bank, you were a very good team leader. So I thought about working with you in this new business venture I joined recently. Why don't we meet over a cup of coffee? "

Note that any information you have on someone or your previous associates, is a very good way to personalize an invitation for your Network Marketing business.

3. Posture

However good your presentation is, if your posture is bad and negative, no one will want to join your business organization.

Having a good posture is all about having a strong voice and keeping a good body language all the time. Always speak loudly, confidently walk around the stage with non-verbal cues that match your presentation. Look like someone who know what they are talking about.

No one in this world, is willing to join you if you show weakness, timidness or shyness. Therefore always keep your posture upright and on point so that someone knows you are worth partnering with.

Remember people don't join companies, rather they join friends, partners or other people.
